Major Duties:

· Provide ongoing

· Provide individual casework counseling to youth in foster care

· Work with youth on a weekly basis to achieve specific goals that will assist them with achieving the goal of APPLA

· Attend team meetings involving the youth

· Develop resources and linkages to meet the youth's needs

· Develop and run groups for youth who are in foster care to work on specific issues that arise as they work towards independence.

· Collaborate and coordinate with other Good Shepherd Services team members and relevant staff

· Attend workshops and trainings that will support work with youth in foster care

· .

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work required.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Must be able to work cohesively as part of an inter-disciplinary team.

· Must have a commitment to work from a strength-based and/or youth development perspective.
